It is based on the work of the Research Training Group and sees itself as a platform for publications on theoretical and empirical determinations of transitions in the life course. In an initial phase, the series is to be funded by book publications from the ranks of the Research Training Group, thereby gaining national and international visibility. As the visibility of the series increases, it will then also be open to publication projects outside the Research Training Group that can be classified as reflexive transition research. The series was launched in 2020 with an anthology on the theoretical and methodological foundations of reflexive transition research. In 2021, an anthology on the different modes of shaping transitions was published; another on transitions across the entire lifespan will follow (2025).
