Professional transitions in the context of environmental sustainability

Wie sprechen Individuen über Nachhaltigkeit? Wie machen sie etwas Eigenes daraus, etwas, wofür es sich zu arbeiten lohnt, und wie nutzen sie es zur Erklärung ihrer beruflichen Neuorientierung? Die Untersuchung des Konzepts der Nachhaltigkeit aus der Perspektive des Subjekts wirft viele Fragen auf: Prozesse der Subjektivierung und des Lernens sowie mikrosoziale Praktiken. Bei der empirischen Untersuchung handelt es sich um eine Studie, die auf narrativen Interviews mit Individuen basiert, die eine als nachhaltig bezeichnete Arbeit anstreben.

Derzeitige Forschungsinteressen beinhalten:
Übergangs- und Lebenslaufforschung, Erwachsenenbildung, biographische und lebenslanges Lernen, Nachhaltigkeitssoziologie, Praxistheorie, Eco-critical Theorie und Theorien bzgl. Doing Difference, und qualitative Methoden.

Elisa Thevenot absolvierte ein Masterstudium in Wirtschaftswissenschaft. Sowohl ihr Bachelor (2009) als auch ihr Master (2011) konzentrierten sich auf erneuerbare Energien. Sie arbeitete 6 Jahre in der Marktforschung. 2017 nimmt sie ihr Studium an der Universität Tübingen wieder und im Jahr 2020 integriert sie die interdisziplinäre Gruppe Doing Transitions mit einem Promotionsprojekt über berufliche Übergänge im Kontext nachhaltiger Entwicklung.
